The Best Breakfast and Brunch Spots in Batumi.

I recommend sitting inside at one of the booths. The flaky, extra buttery croissants at Fabrika are some of the best in Tbilisi in my opinion. If caffeine is your main priority in the AM, these specialty coffee shop also serve a mean breakfast. My favourite cafe in Tbilisi by a pretty wide margin, Coffee LAB roast their own beans on-site for siphon, aeropress and French press coffee. You can find their beans at cafes and restaurants all over the city. My go-to dish is the sulguni cheese waffles served with butternut pumpkin, carrot crisps, coriander sour cream and Parmesan granola.

The combination of flavours and textures is out of this world! Need I say more? If you need a place to sit behind your laptop for a few hours, Coffee LAB is my top choice of cafe to work from in Tbilisi. The outdoor tables all have a power supply in the umbrella stand, and the WIFI is fast and reliable. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful too. Open 24 hours, Lui Coffee is a great option for early risers or anyone who craves eggs at 3am.

The baristas here are terrific and the arabica coffee is top-quality. They also serve specialty hot drinks including a blue cheese latte yes, really! The cafe is family owned and many of the recipes are home-style. The beetroot toast with feta and roasted walnuts also comes highly recommended. Set on a steep backstreet behind Rustaveli Avenue, this cafe is beautifully decorated the red stencils extend to the front of the building and serves some of the best specialty coffee in the city.

The ambiance is dreamy — one morning I was sitting here when a violist started serenading the tables! The all-day breakfast menu is well-rounded and features some unique sweet and savory creations, including a breakfast couscous bowl with salmon and avocado, pancakes with baked pear, and avo on toast.

Many of the meals are vegan. Erti Kava also has a second Tbilisi cafe in Vake plus a branch in Batumi. If you like your breakfast sweet who am I to judge! This is the home of the best cinnamon roll in Tbilisi.

They come out of the oven at 1pm sharp every day — a little late for breakfast, but perfectly timed for afternoon tea. If you arrive early, why not try a Paris Brest with pistachio cream and raspberry, or maybe a slice of pecan pie instead. Pretty sure those both qualify as breakfast foods. The cafe is tiny and mainly does take-away but there are a couple of bar stools by the window inside where you can sit.

Now that Brotmeister has closed, there are three main bakery chains left in Tbilisi. There are branches around the city, including one just off Liberty Square. This Parisian-style patisserie was founded in and specialises in beautiful French pastries, tarts, croissants and sweets. Prices are a little higher here but the quality is great and so is the service.

If you find yourself hungry in Yerevan , Paul is now launching cafes in Armenia too. Similar to Degusto, Entree has multiple locations across Tbilisi and in Baku. Breakfast is served until 11am or midday when the cafes are open on weekends.

As well as pastries, ready-made sandwiches and savoury croissants, you can order an eat-in breakfast set with scrambled eggs. I often visit the Old Town branch on Afkhazi Street where the main production bakery is located.

I usually go for the almond croissant or apricot danish. The quality of the coffee varies a lot between locations. Afkhazi Street is one of the more reliable branches in my experience. In the morning, you can snag a pastry fresh from the oven the oozy Nutella croissants are extremely yum for just 4 GEL with a coffee, while an omelette, pastry and coffee will cost you 10 GEL.

The service is amazing and the staff are very attentive and friendly. So I if you guys visit batumi make sure to visit this place and don’t hesitate to try their signature eggplant with cheese and veggies and unique sauce. Neat, clean restaurant with polite and helpful staff. I ordered borsht and wasn’t disappointed – it was tasty. Regular size portion, nothing out of ordinary. Reasonable price. The bill didn’t include anything silly like additional charge for tips or whatever. I think it would be even better if the soup was served with some bread.

They have really nice dishes for kids: soup with meatballs, chicken cutlets and mashed potatoes; as for the rest, the mushroom cream soup was just average. We had the Kobuleti style omelette with Georgian cheese and the Abkhazian yoka — a delicious pita bread stuffed with egg, cheese and spring onion. Both were scrumptious, particularly the yoka I hope I can find a breakfast cafe in Tbilisi that serves it.

With its stylish bar, lovely staff, plant-filled backyard hung with fairy lights and various attractive dining areas, Uolli is a notable addition to Batumi’s eating scene. What’s more, on the menu you’ll find For a slightly more upscale but still very affordable experience, head to Uolli.

The decor is elegant but relaxed. Prices are not low, but place looks really great and food is delicious so it is worth to go there. Also waiter was really helpful and nice and knew very well what is in the kitchen. Can also speek English, it is a big plus. Dessert was the best I had in Georgia : Finnaly chocolate is a chocolate and not a plum with a bit of cacao ; I recommend also sea food there.

This restaurant is probably the most aesthetically pleasing designed restaurants with a very cool interior design. We came here for lunch, when we walked through the door we are greeted by a waiter waiter a polite and offered to take a coat, with them were taken to a table. All the food was very delicious and also quick so we were not waiting around for ages which was nice. We generally enjoyed the restaurant and would definitely recommend this a place to visit. The interior is really very authentic and gorgeous.

In general everything was very fat with bad quality of oil, oversalted, simple and not tasty. Tkvili dish and omelette kobuletian – awfully fat and too salty Coffee was also low quality Toast with salmon was dry and not tasty. The friendly staff serve big portions which are affordable and filling. There are also delicious kebabs and dumplings in this rustic style cafe.

The atmosphere here is nice, however, it is mostly crowded and busy. The main dish in the menu is acharian khachapuri known as cheese boat and that is the star of the cafe. So, make sure get your first experience here before trying it in another place. Really good Khachapuri. Service was good and friendly, they do speak english.

Prices are good. It is a nice place to have a lunch or dinner. Good service, this is the first khachapuri that we tried and felt it was very crispy. Price is slightly higher than other restaurants but worth to try it. First of all the food was delicious! I took one star away because the table on our right side got their orders before us, 6 main dishes, even though they came later than us.

And again the table on the right side got their food at the same time. It is a very busy place so be prepared not to get a free table. Shota Rustaveli st. Steak is a popular choice; I can personally vouch for the exceptional house-made pasta. Wonderful suluguni cheese burger included zucchini as one of the ingredients which I think is awesome , and exceptional home made style carbonated drink Georgian lemonade.

I enjoyed the meal very much. Situated on the posh side of central Batumi, convenient. Staff is relaxed and helpful. I’ll come back. What a lovely place!

Food-wise a pretty varied menu with lots of European dishes – salads, pastas, meat, burgers and more! As others have commented, the meat was cooked to perfection. Love vegetable cream soup, it’s my favorite one from now! Cocktail is good. Mentioned on 4 lists. Try it on Wanderlog. Modern European restaurant. Fanfan is one of the priciest Batumi restaurants on this list — save it for a special occasion. With its unique architecture as well as its style, Fanfan attracts customers with its style and coziness.

Shabby chic in decor and favoured by cool, arty folk though not exclusive to them , Fanfan also prepares delicious food — especially the seafood and the lemon tart. In case you’re travelling with your dog or Fanfan is offering coffee and other beverages along with a variety of small plates to accompany the cozy, vintage atmosphere.

Great interior and service. Mussels with tomato sauce were just fantastic! Good food but not fair about price, expensive drink also, service was normal, look more cafe than restaurant, specially with French interior design. Menu so limited and some items also not available. Definitely best place in city! Food is tasty, service is good, cocktails are delicious and the restaurant has a chic atmosphere.

I love everything about FanFan. So stylish, so lovely! This is a popular local joint in Batumi Old Town with a generous menu of Georgian fare. We came back several times to drink their amazing and cheap iced coffees. This large, brick-walled restaurant has a kind of tavern feel and a huge range of well-prepared Georgian dishes from khinkali or badrijani nigvzit to mtsvadi, trout or chakapuli.

Food is delicious, service is friendly but it might be a little bit difficult with only english. It helps if you know atleast a little bit russian and then you can just point out things in the menu, thats what i did. Location is excellent and prices are really affordable. Went back couple of times. A wonderful and unforgettable experience. Beautiful decor, but it doesn’t matter, just walk in, you will become a genuinely cared for guest.

Updated 19 Feb Great and affordable restaurant that looks respectable. Choice of foods is impressive. I’ve had Borano and it was good if maybe a bit dry. But still, delicious and stuffy. Adjarian dishes are represented well here. On my second time in the restaurant I had veal ragu, mchado breads and a dessert, was absolutely delicious. At Dolidze branch they also give a croissant to those who buy coffee till 11 am.
