The North Carolina Zoo is thrilled to announce the new acre Asia Continent is now in construction and planning to open in Asia will highlight iconic species such as tigers, Komodo dragons, Visayan warty pigs, Asian small-clawed otters, red-crowned cranes, wrinkled hornbills, king cobras, white-cheeked gibbons, and many more exciting additions!

Planned species: tigers, white-cheeked gibbons, Komodo dragons, Chinese alligators, king cobras, wrinkled hornbills, red-crowned cranes, Asian small-clawed otters, cinererous vultures, Visayan warty pigs, and Chinese giant salamanders.
